The Van Cleef & Arpels Vintage Alhambra Pendant is one of the maison’s most recognisable jewellery icons, inspired by the four-leaf clover and its enduring symbolism of luck and good fortune. This 18K gold Guilloché rendition gives the classic Alhambra motif a particularly luminous character, with precisely engraved lines that reflect light beautifully as the pendant moves.
Unlike the stone-set Alhambra pendants, the Guilloché Alhambra derives its brilliance entirely from craftsmanship. Fine radial engraving across the 18K solid gold motif creates a striking sunburst effect, allowing the pendant to shimmer differently from every angle without the use of gemstones.
Presented in excellent condition, this example is particularly attractive for its 2024 recency and comes complete with its original Van Cleef & Arpels box and 2024 papers. There is something very different about Guilloché once you see it under natural light. Instead of relying on a gemstone for colour and lustre, those meticulously engraved lines create their own radiance—the motif almost appears to glow as it moves. We also love the practicality of the all-18K-gold construction for collectors who want an Alhambra they can reach for more regularly. In excellent condition with 2024 papers and box, at SGD 5,588, this is a beautifully recent example of one of VCA’s most loved everyday designs.
